Description

Two mirrored sections are made to read as one complete composition, with open shelves, a central display bay and two lower cupboards. The divided construction facilitates transport and installation while retaining precise alignment at the central junction.

Design Reference

Brazilian modernism, circa 1960s, after a period shelving design identified as Móveis Valério. This is a newly commissioned KIRSANOV interpretation, not an original period example.

Dimensions

Reference overall size: W 3600 × H 2630 × D 400 mm. Two symmetrical sections, nominally 1800 mm wide each. Final shop drawings and tolerances to be approved before manufacture.

Materials & Finish

Rosewood with carefully matched grain and figure, warm satin finish. The period reference lists black-painted metal as well as rosewood; discreet structural reinforcement and wall fixings to be agreed with the maker.

Construction

Two precision-aligned modules with concealed joining and appropriate wall restraint. Shelf loads, span deflection and the stability of a 2630 mm high unit require engineering review. Solid wood and approved stable substrates where appropriate.

Customisation

Dimensions, shelving proportions and lower storage can be adapted while preserving the balanced architectural character.
